The 2023 Bridging the Gap: Integrating Behavior and Biogeography to Understand Biodiversity at Scale is a day-long symposium supported by our NSF-funded Biology Integration Institute design award: Institute for the Biogeography of Behavior initiative. Biogeography of Behavior brings together scientists from multiple disciplines to develop a comprehensive foundation for integrating the fields of animal behavior and biogeography. Our team spans questions from cellular to global scales, examining links between disciplines and approaches for developing predictions for shifts in populations in response to rapid environmental change.
